Permissive Parenting

A permissive parent has a significant focus on their child’s emotions, but brings little to no force in settling their child’s behaviors (Holden, 2025). They don’t make a strong effort to control their child, and avoid using punishment or restriction on their children, for their emotional well-being. A permissive parent is likely to let their child control their own decisions, satisfying their needs.
